Maintenance fees have more than doubled @ Villa del Palmar in Cabo since it was built and sold (prior to building it) in 1999. If you fall behind in paying maintenance fees, they tack on THOUSANDS of dollars in fees and late charges. They are UNWILLING to negotiate and in this market, that is JUST WRONG! There is no market for selling a timeshare, especially an expensive ocean front unit. This company's lack of flexibility and care for owners will drive the property to bankruptcy.
